Bettisworth North Anchorage Office
The Bettisworth North office design was shaped by direct employee input, guided by evidence-based workplace best practices and the WELL Building Standard, and inspired by sustainable northern design.
Our designers created an open, flexible space plan that fosters collaboration and creativity and features Alaska nature-inspired motifs, patterns, textures, and colors. When privacy is required, multiple enclosed spaces for huddles, one-on-ones, conferencing, phone calls, and respite are readily available. Direct or borrowed access to daylight is found throughout, while acoustic treatments on walls, ceiling, and privacy panels ensure comfortable ambient sound levels. Sustainable materials support the health and wellbeing of staff and eliminate the need for harsh maintenance chemicals.
An initial post-occupancy survey has shown that most of our staff are experiencing a more collaborative atmosphere in the new environment, leading to heightened productivity. Additional surveys will continue to assess user requirements and feedback over the next 12 to 18 months.
