Firm Overview

Forty-eight years ago, a young Fairbanks man opened an architecture firm with a mission to make Alaska’s communities the best places to live. Bettisworth North’s interdisciplinary team includes architects, landscape architects, and interior designers who work from our offices in Fairbanks and Anchorage to create design solutions celebrating Alaska’s diverse places and cultures. We are Alaska Community Builders and our practice is rooted in balance. Color, light, nature, and energy are the backbone of our northern design as we develop responsive, resilient buildings and facilities that reflect each community’s environment, people, and values
